Mud festival
Venue: Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do
Boryeong Mud Festival is one of the most popular festivals in Korea takes place every July and last for around 2 weeks in the town of Boryeong. Similar to the mud taken from the Dead Sea, the mud from Boryeong is healthy for skin and rich in minerals. During the festival, visitors can enjoy various of mud themed activities such as mud slides, mud baths, body painting and mud wrestling. It is a fun and unique experience where visitors can enjoy during summer in Korea.

Goseong Lavender Festival
Venue: Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do
In June, the purple lavenders covered the field with a good odour, the seasonal gift from Goseong offers plenty of hand-on programmes where visitors can join and made their own lavender perfume and soap, enjoy the foot bath and take as many photos as you like around this adorable lavender land.
Pohang International Fireworks Festival
Venue: Hyeongsangang Sports Park, Yeongildae Northern Beach and others, Gyeongsangbuk-do
Usually at the end of July and the beginning of August, there is an amazing international fireworks festival held in Pohang. All the fireworks are representatives from different countries and during the firework show, there are festivities including light parade, live beach concerts, light art contests and more.
