Hello everyone, I am a final year International Tourism Management student at the University of Lincoln who interested in tourism and destination management. I am a fan of Korean popular culture and I have been influenced by Korean Wave since 2009 after watching a Korean drama called “You’re Beautiful” and I started following everything related to Korea such as their lifestyle, cuisine, dramas and TV shows and this became one of my hobbies and interest. Also, I have combined my interest and knowledge to conduct a survey under the title “The current phenomenon of Korean Wave and its impact on tourism growth in Korea from worldwide perspective” for my dissertation.

After I get interested in Korea culture and visited South Korea, I have a strong passion to introduce and promote Korea as a unique travel destination to others especially in Western countries where people are not familiar with this country compare to Asia. Most of them may think of spicy food and may notice PSY’s GangNam style music video and this is what they know about Korea. By using this blog, I hope it can catch wider attention, promote Korea as a unique travel destination, attract interest and increase desire to visit Korea.
